Oval turquoise dangles at the bottom draw the eye while sky blue turquoise beads, brass heishi and a dainty Kuchi coil carry you up the earring. The Kuchi coil is a wire technique with roots in Afghanistan, passed down to me through my teacher Lynne Merchant.

Lightweight and wearable with a quiet richness to them. The kind of earrings that look simple from across the room and reveal their detail up close.
