This stone carries history in it.
Uzbekistan turquoise has been mined from the Kyzylkum desert since the 6th millennium BCE — over 8,000 years of human hands reaching into the earth for this particular blue. Traders carried it along the Silk Road. It was prized across ancient Eurasian exchange networks from China to the Black Sea. Kings noted its superiority in their annals. And now this stone has found its way to a small studio in the Pacific Northwest, which feels exactly right.
This particular stone was cut by Siberian Gems and came to me through a benefit auction — already it has a journey behind it. The color is a spectacular light blue with thin chestnut brown veins threading through the surface. In one section a small circle emerges — outlined in lighter blue, its interior a camel brown. It looks like a tiny island in a vast sea. It looks like something ancient and alive.
The sterling silver surround features whimsical oak shaped leaves that curl up the sides and just over the top of the stone, securing it with both leaves and thick prongs between them. Silver balls edge the piece, some detailed with a shot plate pattern. A solid backplate gives this pendant a substantial, grounded presence.
This one is earthy and a little Roman and entirely its own. 🌿

The carnelian glows.
Five sterling silver panels, each one holding a carnelian cabochon with that warm amber fire that only carnelian has. The stones came from my neighbor Hugh's collection — a lifelong collector of Native American and southwestern art. I love knowing where they came from.
Between each panel, twisted wire elements that remind me of roots — tangled, organic, alive. Jump rings connect the panels giving the bracelet fluid movement on the wrist. A safety clasp means you never have to worry about losing it.
Substantial but not heavy. The kind of bracelet you put on and forget you're wearing — until someone asks about it.

This stone stopped me the moment I saw it. The larimar is angular and dreamy — pale blue with hints of white and brown that shift across the surface like a mountainscape seen from above. It's a stone that asks you to look closer.
The sterling silver surround grew up around it — two longer leaves on each side, little rounded leaf clusters at the top and bottom, each one carved with branching veins using my line chasing tool. The bail is a loop with thicker edges and leaves tucked inside the open space, because why leave anything unbeautiful.
This is a statement piece. It weighs 36 grams and has a quiet command when worn — substantial, present, impossible to overlook.

Polychrome Hubei turquoise has a magical quality — this stone shimmers with robin's egg blue, a whisper of mustard and warm chestnut brown all living together in one piece. Rare and entirely its own. The sterling silver surround has an almost art deco quality — leaves and a delicate four petal flower framing the stone, silver balls clustered at the edges, everything hand formed and soldered in place. A split shank band stamped with a repeating pattern gives the ring an architectural foundation that feels both ancient and modern.
There is one more detail — a few tiny pallions of silver rest beneath the stone. Give it a little shake and you'll hear them. A small secret, just for the one this ring finds its way to. 🌿
This ring is a size 7½. Wide bands fit snugly — if you wear a 7½ or are between sizes I recommend sizing up to an 8. Please feel free to reach out with any sizing questions.

Some pieces don't start with a plan. They just arrive.
This necklace grew from a return to my wire wrap roots — inspired by the work of Lynne Merchant, the woman who first taught me this craft. Bali silver leaves, a coiled wire technique with roots in Afghanistan, ocean blue glass trade beads, my own meditation link, brass, bronze and sterling silver. A hollow tube bead with an outer ring that spins — and when it spins, it sounds like wings.
Somewhere in the making I felt like a traveler collecting bits of metal and story from far away places. And then it arrived all at once — this is what a hummingbird sees when she flies. All the details of a wild world, gathered close.
I called her Hummingbird. 🐦

These earrings carry a well-traveled energy. Oblong moon beads — old trade beads with a quiet history — are wire wrapped and paired with sky blue turquoise, sterling silver and brass heishi beads.
Light, layered and full of quiet detail. The kind of earrings you reach for when you want something that feels collected rather than bought.

Oval turquoise dangles at the bottom draw the eye while sky blue turquoise beads, brass heishi and a dainty Kuchi coil carry you up the earring. The Kuchi coil is a wire technique with roots in Afghanistan, passed down to me through my teacher Lynne Merchant.

The most elaborate pair in this collection — and the most personal. A long Kuchi coil anchors each earring, a wire technique with roots in Afghanistan passed down to me through my teacher Lynne Merchant. African jade and mixed turquoise beads, brass heishi and small flower stamped Thai silver beads travel the length of each earring.
Intentionally asymmetrical — the beads and their order differ from ear to ear. Because sometimes the most interesting things don't match.
These are the ones that make people look twice. Long enough to catch the light when you move, detailed enough to reward a closer look.

These ones have a personality all their own. A double wrap spiral at the top holds a Kuchi coil formed into a horseshoe shape — the coil itself becoming the body of the earring. Sky blue turquoise, Karen Hill Tribe silver heishi, trade beads and tiny flower stamped Thai silver beads complete the design.
Whimsical and a little unexpected. The kind of earrings that make you smile when you put them on.
Short enough to wear every day, distinctive enough to be the first thing someone notices. 🌿

These ones stopped me when I finished them.
Light blue triangular turquoise dangles — watery and translucent — hang at the bottom of each earring. A small Kuchi coil sits at the center, flanked by brass heishi and the softest petal pink freshwater pearls. The turquoise and pearl together remind me of the South Sea — something coastal and calm and quietly luminous.
They shouldn't work as well as they do. And yet they're perfect together.
The kind of earrings you wear on a day that deserves something beautiful. 🌿

The fifth in my bird series is the crow. A member of the corvid family, this highly intelligent bird flys close enough to grab a nut from the ground and keeps a close eye on me at all times retreating to the phone lines when I get too close. They’re always chirping and cawing at me and each other communicating many things I enjoy wondering on. Sometimes they’re annoyed with me and they let it show. Most times they are curious and gentle souls. I hope they like my company even just a little bit. I sure do appreciate theirs.

These ones arrived with a very specific energy. Fairy magic. Garden spell. Something small and alive. 🫧
No. 05 is delicate and detailed — lots of little silver stem connections, swoops and surprises. A circular turquoise bead ties the pair together quietly while each earring does its own thing. A flat silver disc component in each, slightly different from the other. A little stem with a bell flower bead. At the bottom of one earring a wire wrapped raw amethyst. At the bottom of the other a pink Swarovski crystal with light chain dangles.
Put them on and you might feel like you're holding a fairy's bubble wand. That's the whole idea.

These ones found each other.
The enameled pieces and the middle silver components were each meant to be something else once. They didn't quite work on their own. But here together they found their home — and that's exactly the Wild Tendrils story.
No. 04 features faceted labradorite at the top for that signature flash of shifting color, two silver middle components flipped so the pair plays with symmetry without committing to it, and at the bottom a green enameled flower shape nestled inside a purple enameled cup. Whimsical, a little magical and completely one of a kind.

Meet Wild Tendrils — a new collection born from the bits and pieces of my studio. Forgotten findings, leftover components and little treasures that never quite found a home. Until now.
Wild Tendrils are long, playful and asymmetrical by design. Each pair is completely its own — no rules, just creativity and a fairy spirit let loose at the bench.
No. 01 features a sterling om symbol recycled from a charm, swirls and circles, my signature silver nest, a herkimer diamond set in hand-formed prongs, a tiny turquoise bead for a pop of color, a cubic zirconia set in a little silver ball and cascading chain fringe. One earring measures 3¼" long, the other 4½". Because symmetry is overrated. 🌿
These are made to bring you delight when you wear them. That's the whole point.
These are lightweight by design. As someone sensitive to heavy earrings I wear these comfortably.

Wild Tendrils are long, playful and asymmetrical by design. Each pair is completely its own — no rules, just creativity and a fairy spirit let loose at the bench.
These ones have a story to tell — and some of it is just for you.
No. 03 is substantial in personality and surprisingly light to wear. One earring at 4¼" opens with a herkimer diamond set in prongs inside a bezel originally meant for a ring. Hidden on the back is a small red enameled flower that spins freely on a ball rivet — a little secret that moves with you. Below is a soft open back diamond shape, then a domed cap with cascading chain at the bottom, reminiscent of a jellyfish drifting in open water.
The 3½" earring carries its own quiet magic. A sterling silver flower with petals cut out — the mate to the one in No. 02 — flat rather than rounded, with bronze and silver details in relief. Below is a wavy proud form that reminds me of a starfish. Then a small meditation earring component with its own spinning red enamel flower at the bottom.
Turn them over and you'll find the surprises. A spinning red flower hidden behind the herkimer. And stamped into the back of the starfish — the word love.
Because some things are just meant for the wearer. 🌿

This pendant was built around a stone I've loved for a long time. The Hubei turquoise is a long oval of shifting green and blue, threaded with dark tributaries that wind through the surface like a map of somewhere wild and beautiful. It's the kind of stone that rewards a long look.
The sterling silver surround features hand-formed leaves and ribbons with movement, little stems with balled ends, all made by hand in my studio. The piece is substantial and wearable — quiet in its confidence, generous in its detail.
